Jacobi Medical Center in Bronx New York is a 457-bed acute care level 1 Trauma Center with approximately 101,000 Emergency Room Visits and 325,000 clinic visits per year.  Like Metropolitan Hospital Center, it is one of the 11 facilities that are a part of the New York Health and Hospital Corporation (NYHHC) Facilities in the City of New York.  Jacobi Hospital maintains a Burn Unit, is accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Commission on Cancer and is an ACS Verified Level 1 Trauma Center and a designated New York State Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center.
